About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team at Sensient Technologies. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in providing operational HR support and expertise in all areas of the employee life cycle, particularly in Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a central HR contact person for the Business Unit, advising on HR policies and procedures, and providing guidance on employee relations matters.
- Effectively lead and manage employee relations issues, including researching, investigating, and presenting solutions to ensure successful closure of employee issues.
- Manage relationships with Trade Union representatives, balancing the business' and unions' interests, and ensuring compliance with employment law and Corporate & Group directives.
- Participate in and lead HR and payroll procedures, and UK employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all onboarding and off-boarding activities are delivered, and improvement action items are followed up.
- Support the annual performance management processes, as well as other HR projects, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Set up and facilitate employee Roundtable meetings, ensuring actions are assigned to action owners for completion.
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reporting, ensuring data integrity is accurate for all HRIS technologies.
Requirements:
- Build rapport quickly and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers across all levels.
- Proactively identify and address employee engagement and retention issues, and develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and act on insights.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages, with strong Excel reporting skills.
- Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, delivering accurate results and meeting deadlines.
