We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching and Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Bolton St Catherine's Academy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting inclusive learning environments and enhancing student outcomes.
- Assist in managing student behavior, using a range of strategies and techniques to promote positive relationships and a safe learning environment.
- Support the development of student learning plans, setting targets and tracking progress to ensure students receive the best possible support.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with students with SEN, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
