About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our expanding Quality Assurance (QA) team at IES Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will work with the latest technologies, learn something new every day, and use your initiative to drive quality and efficiency in our software development process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test automation frameworks on backend applications and services
  • Responsible for test pipelines and their overall health, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of software releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation testing
  • Design and implement test scenarios and acceptance tests to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Guide junior team members on test automation framework development and maintenance
  • Manage the final quality of software releases, ensuring they meet our high standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing
  • Strong programming skills in compiled languages (e.g., C, C++, C#) and experience with API/Libraries testing
  • Excellent designing and programming skills, with a focus on test automation
  • Knowledge of programming languages, process management methodologies, and test methodologies
  • Experience with Behaviour Driven Development and programming languages
  • Ability to recognize risks and errors in software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Good time management and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
