Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accounts Manager to join our team at Huntress. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing complex account assignments, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate account assignments across multiple sectors, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Utilize various accounting software packages, including CCH, Silverfin, Caseware, Alpha Tax, Sage, and Xero, to streamline accounting processes.
- Review and analyze statutory and management accounts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, providing training and support as required.
- Liaise with senior management and partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Manage departmental tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA qualification is essential.
- Experience with FRS102 1A is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SRAs, International accounts, Consolidated accounts, or Charity accounts is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage workload efficiently, and excellent communication skills are required.
- Degree qualification, 2:1 or higher, or 3 high A-Level results (or equivalent) are necessary.
