About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our esteemed client, a leading provider of acute adult mental health services. This hospital boasts a Medium Secure Services unit specializing in patients with learning disabilities and is actively expanding its service offerings.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional care to individuals experiencing mental illness and personality disorders.
  • Cultivate therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement and well-being.
  • Contribute to comprehensive patient assessments, collaborating with the individual to develop personalized care plans and monitor progress effectively.
  • At a senior level, lead shifts, mentor student nurses, and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Adhere to all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, upholding ethical practices and respecting the rights of others.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Current active NMC Pin registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Proven experience in providing mental health care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading shifts and mentoring nursing staff.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
