Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to younger adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities in our community 7-bedded service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to younger adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities
  • Support and empower individuals to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN or RNLD)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of five years of experience in learning disability/autism/mental health/community/NHS or private settings
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
