Treasury Analyst

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Bestway Healthcare UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical support to our Group Treasurer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare, analyze, and monitor both long- and short-term cash forecasts to identify areas for action and optimize our cash management strategy.
- Reporting and Analysis: Report Cash & Bank KPIs on a weekly basis, providing insights and recommendations to improve our financial performance.
- Reconciliation and Investigation: Responsible for the review of period-end reconciliation of all cash and bank accounts, investigating discrepancies, and agreeing the appropriate resolution with the Group Treasurer.
- Process Documentation and Training: Responsible for all documentation of cash and bank processes, including regular reviews and cross-training as required.
- Payment Processing and Reconciliation: Support the SSC team with the raising of payment runs for all AP ledgers, commissions, foreign, and sundry payments, ensuring they have the correct level of authorization in line with Company policy.
- Cash and Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile all branch cash takings to the bank statement on a weekly basis, identifying and investigating variances, liaising with Loomis and/or branches. Manage the import of all branch credit card and Amex transactions and reconcile to the bank statement on a weekly basis, managing and investigating variances with the bank/Mastercard/Amex.
- Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile all transactions on the bank statement daily, ensuring customer receipts are posted to AR, supplier payments/DDs are posted to AP, and other receipts and payments are coded correctly.
Key Requirements:
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with a flair for turning data into information.
- Qualifications and Experience: Studying AAT or intention to study Treasury qualifications (preferable). Previous experience of working in a Treasury/Cash & Bank role working with high volumes of transactions is a must.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Excel skills and confident in using Excel and finance systems (Open Accounts, EBIS, Bluebox).
- Attention to Detail: Have an eye for detail, good at problem-solving, and comfortable working with a high volume of data on a daily basis.
