Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Bestway Healthcare UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical support to our Group Treasurer, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare, analyze, and monitor both long- and short-term cash forecasts to identify areas for action and optimize our cash management strategy.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report Cash & Bank KPIs on a weekly basis, providing insights and recommendations to improve our financial performance.
  • Reconciliation and Investigation: Responsible for the review of period-end reconciliation of all cash and bank accounts, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and ensuring financial integrity is maintained at all times.
  • Process Documentation and Training: Document and maintain accurate records of cash and bank processes, including regular reviews and cross-training as required.
  • Payment Processing and Reconciliation: Support the SSC team with the raising of payment runs for all AP ledgers, commissions, foreign, and sundry payments, ensuring they have the correct level of authorization in line with Company policy.
  • Branch Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile all branch cash takings to the bank statement on a weekly basis, identifying and investigating variances, and liaising with Loomis and/or branches.
  • Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile all transactions on the bank statement daily, ensuring customer receipts are posted to AR, supplier payments/DDs are posted to AP, and other receipts and payments are coded correctly.

Key Requirements:

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with a flair for turning data into actionable insights.
  • Financial Knowledge: Studying AAT or intention to study Treasury qualifications (preferable).
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Excel skills and confident in using finance systems (Open Accounts, EBIS, Bluebox).
  • Experience: Previous experience of working in a Treasury/Cash & Bank role, working with high volumes of transactions.
  • Attention to Detail: Have an eye for detail, good at problem-solving, and comfortable working with a high volume of data on a daily basis.
