About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trainee Mortgage Adviser. As a key member of our mortgage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our clients throughout their mortgage journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update detailed and accurate client records
  • Re-engage and prepare our clients for their mortgage review appointment with our Mortgage and Protection Advisers
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service and professionalism to our mortgage customers, taking ownership of their appointment and application journey
  • Maintain strong and effective working relationships with our Mortgage and Protection Adviser teams
  • Progress mortgage applications and work in close partnership with our 3rd party service providers – mortgage lenders, insurance companies, and solicitors
  • Help customers with increasing complex mortgage-related enquiries as you develop
  • Fulfill all role-based learning and development objectives
  • Study towards and achieve the required mortgage advice qualifications (CF1 & CF6 or CeMAP)
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple way
  • Able to accurately record and assess information in live contact environments
  • Highly accurate, numerate, and literate
  • Competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and able to quickly adapt to new software packages and online processes
  • Proven track record in sales and customer service and personal determination to meet and exceed all standards and expectations set
