HR Operations Manager

Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing business and contribute to the delivery of an outstanding, compliant, and effective HR service to all stakeholders.
As the HR Operations Manager, you will work closely with the HR leadership team to implement policies, processes, and systems relevant to the employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing and improving key people processes through the administration of cyclical and ad hoc operational HR activity, such as monthly payroll, onboarding, offboarding, performance review cycles, contractual changes, and more.
You will have line management responsibility for a team of 5 HR Administrators and will be expected to provide a highly professional, proactive, and pragmatic approach to work. CIPD Level 5 (minimum) is required, but equivalent experience in an HR role will be considered too.
This role offers excellent flexible working with only 1 day required in the office (minimum) / week on a Wednesday. You will receive a salary between £42,000-£45,000 (DOE) and free on-site parking.
What you'll need to succeed in this role:
- Experience in HR generalist with a strong HR administration background
- Knowledge of supporting payroll processes
- At least 2 years as a HR Manager / Team Leader who has led a team of at least 3 people
