About the Role

In this newly created position as Acute Care Specialist, you will be responsible for the sales of wound care, orthopedics, and compression therapy products in the acute setting, covering either Yorkshire and the North East or Manchester and the North West Regions.

Territory planning will be key to ensure you maintain regular interaction and relationship building with your customers, and collaboration with other team members across the business will be essential to your success.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a permanent, field-based position, and you will be required to live on the territory. Extensive territory travel will be required, including some overnights, and occasional travel off territory for business meetings and conferences as necessary.

This role is a hybrid role with a blend of face-to-face and remote sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales growth year on year, as set by company targets
  • Manage and grow accounts through tactical business planning
  • Identify new business opportunities through effective market analysis
  • Develop influential relationships with decision makers
  • Identify key opinion leaders and key accounts at territory level

Requirements

This role would ideally suit an existing account manager/sales specialist with experience in the medical sector. Desirables for this role include:

  • Experience within the medical sector
  • Working knowledge of the acute care sector across the region
  • An interest and ability in developing professional working relationships
  • Commercial acumen
  • Good knowledge of IT skills, tech savvy
