Job Summary:

Ortus PSR is seeking a dedicated Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner - Financial Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial advisors by conducting in-depth research, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring the smooth implementation of financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on investment products, pension schemes, and other financial instruments to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed financial reports, including cash flow analysis and risk assessment, to support financial planning decisions.
  • Assist in the development of financial plans based on clients' goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Liaise with financial advisors and clients to gather necessary information and clarify requirements, fostering strong relationships and ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards in all financial planning activities, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Paraplanner within a financial advisory firm, with a strong understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting financial research and utilizing financial planning software, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, tax planning, and retirement strategies, with the ability to communicate complex information to clients and team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and team members, and work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • A diploma in financial planning or a related field is preferred, with professional certifications such as the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) or Chartered Financial Planner status being advantageous.
