We are excited to announce an opportunity to become a vital member of our Endoscopy Booking Unit. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating the workflow within a high-demand department that handles numerous daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the patient journey through the endoscopy units, including referral receipt and waiting list management.
  • Coordinate appointments and provide administrative support for various procedures.
  • Assist with patient bookings for Bowel Screening, Suspect Cancer referrals, and Surveillance recall lists.
  • Support the administration and reception functions for related surgical units.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess at least Standard Grade education (or equivalent) and have relevant experience in health records, clerical, or administrative roles within a busy office setting. Familiarity with NHS appointment booking processes is preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong listening skills and a flexible approach to work.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
