Trust Fellow in Paediatric Anaesthesia

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Paediatric Anaesthesia Fellow at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality elective and emergency anaesthetic services to patients.
- Engage in clinical governance activities, including critical incident reporting, morbidity and mortality meetings, audit, and mandatory training.
- Contribute to the teaching and training of other members of the anaesthetic department and hospital staff.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and engage with management and administrative tasks as required.
- Primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
- Full GMC registration by the designated start date.
- FRCA (or equivalent level of knowledge).
- At least 3 years' higher specialist training in anaesthesia and within 2 years of completing or up to 2 years post completing a recognised training scheme.
- Experience of teaching and presenting, audit/quality improvement activities, and understanding of principles of clinical governance.
- One year's training in paediatric anaesthesia (or equivalent experience).
- MRCP, MRCPCH, or equivalent.
- Higher degree (MSc, MPhil).
- Paediatric simulator training.
- APLS/EPLS/MEPA.
- Clinical experience in related paediatric specialties.
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals.
