Junior Installation Technician and Junior Service Technician - Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for individuals who possess a keen interest in engineering, are eager to acquire a trade, and have practical skills (such as DIY, construction, woodworking, electrical tasks, or automotive tinkering).
• A valid UK driving license is essential
• Commitment to adhering to stringent Fire/Security and Health & Safety standards
• A flexible attitude towards working hours
Junior Installation Technician and Junior Service Technician - Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will collaborate with qualified and seasoned technicians in either the Installation or Maintenance division, with the aim of taking on responsibilities that include:
• Installing a variety of fire and security systems and equipment
• Commissioning and testing systems and equipment
• Maintaining and repairing various fire and security systems and equipment
• Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on systems and equipment
• Troubleshooting and executing remedial work (mechanical and electrical)
• Managing small-scale projects across client facilities
• Performing testing on the equipment
You will engage closely with facility and building managers at these sites, as well as directly with clients.
