Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team at Bosch Rexroth. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing test yield, calibrating and maintaining equipment and systems, and collecting and analyzing quality and production data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Yield Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve test yield, reducing defects and increasing efficiency.
  • Equipment Calibration: Calibrate and maintain equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Quality Data Analysis: Collect and analyze quality and production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Test Result Analysis: Analyze and diagnose test results to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure test specifications and existing documentation are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to production and quality associates to ensure smooth operation of equipment and processes.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement activities and provide input on process improvements.
  • Tool Selection and Use: Provide guidance on selection and use of quality tools and appropriate gauging.
  • Test Equipment Design and Procurement: Design, procure, install, and commission new test equipment, liaising with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Industrial Controls Experience: Experience with industrial controls (Siemens S7, Labview, PLC's) and calibration of test rig equipment.
  • Hydraulic Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
  • Project Experience: A proven track record of working on projects.
  • Engineering or Manufacturing Experience: Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to adapt and communicate effectively at all levels, work on own initiative, and make decisions.
  • Quality Tools and Measures: Experience using quality tools and measures (FMEAs, Six Sigma etc).
  • MS Office Proficiency: Fully conversant in MS Office.
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, electrical experience and qualifications.
