Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join our team at Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment. As a Legal Cashier, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, managing client accounts, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process financial transactions on our accounting software, including client receipts, bills, and payments
  • Manage client accounts, including updating ledgers and reconciliations
  • Process client to office payment transfers and input payments via online banking portal
  • Take card payments from clients and prepare daily bank reconciliations
  • Perform various other duties as required, including data entry and record-keeping

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a legal or financial role, preferably with knowledge of SOS accounting software
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a small team environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and Microsoft Office/Excel
