About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Manufacturing Engineering Engineer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process instructions, technical specifications, and quality control procedures.
- Conduct industrial validation activities, including process proving, FMEAs, and design modifications.
- Manage configuration control and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the non-conformance process to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ensure products are manufactured with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the design authority during the prototype and development phases to optimize Design for Manufacture (DfM).
- Compile and update Manufacturing Instructions and maintain production BOMs.
- Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
- Have the ability to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.
Requirements:
- Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject OR BEng in relevant Engineering Degree.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
