Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring seamless communication with clients and third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of conveyancing transactions, ensuring timely completion and registration of files.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and third parties, providing regular updates and ensuring accurate file notes.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and draft legal documents, including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters, general correspondence, and Land Registry and HMRC forms.
  • Searches and Compliance: Conduct Precompletion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches accurately and timely, ensuring all necessary paperwork and funds are in place.
  • Post-Completion Work: Prepare and send applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures, and checking account ledgers.

Requirements:

  • Conveyancing Experience: Ideally, this role would suit someone with experience within a conveyancing environment.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communicator with good time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial in this role.
  • Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred but not essential.
