We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Team Leader to join our team at Stateside Foods.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment, ensuring production line start up times are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitizing production machinery to the highest standards
- Completing hygiene records and reports
- Carrying out first-line maintenance and repairs on production machinery
- Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for each task
- Responsible for all critical control points and checks, with no errors, and escalating any issues to the Team Leader
- Ensuring safe practices are followed in all operations
- Maintaining and improving housekeeping and good manufacturing practices
- Delegating tasks and information to team members
- Ensuring hygiene targets are met
- Assisting with hygiene-related training
- Managing resources and shift allocation
- Managing cleaning rotas
- Ensuring cross-contamination is not breached
- Conducting shift audits
- Stock control
- Effective shift handovers
- Other ad-hoc hygiene-related tasks
Requirements:
- Experience in hygiene and/or industrial cleaning
- COSHH training
- Supervisory and/or management experience
- Experience of working towards targets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to plan effectively
