Job Summary:
XCMG UK Sales and Services Limited is a leading provider of construction equipment and services. We are seeking a highly skilled Access Platform Service Engineer to join our team in Yard 9, Lambourn Business Park. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring their MEWPS products are in top working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine maintenance, repair, and inspection services for MEWPS products, including scissor lifts, articulated boom lifts, and telescopic boom lifts.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and ensure all products meet our high standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless product delivery and training.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MEWPS machinery, including safety procedures and best practices.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of product allocation, maintenance, and repairs.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of training as a mechanic in the field of MEWPS machinery or equivalent experience.
- UK qualifications to operate MEWPS machinery.
- Profound knowledge and skills in PDI and MEWPS machinery maintenance.
- Excellent painting skills on machinery.
- Fleet management mindset with experience in allocating machines by serial numbers and recording maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of safety precautions and procedures for handling mechanical equipment.
