Job Description

The Product Manager is responsible for the company's product portfolio from cradle to grave. As our client is a company that designs and manufactures its own products, you will grow to become a key part of new product development from an initial idea to the future discontinuation of the product.

This is an entry-level role in the product team and requires someone who has an ability to solve complex problems and think strategically in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular market and competitor product mapping and report back to management to make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners to understand requirements.
  • Translate this understanding of consumer segments into clear value props, messaging, and marketing claims that communicate our value.
  • Together with the Group Product Manager, generate new ideas that deliver new products, grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive profit & growth.
  • Attend sprint reviews and follow up on action points.
  • Review products and conduct demos and contribute to the development of our go-to-market strategy.
  • Assist with the planning, set-up, and attendance of trade shows and other events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Business Marketing, or first-hand equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with and often direct cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and self-directed with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferable to have an understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps or equivalent.
  • Ability to see problems and solutions from multiple angles.
  • Strong time management skills: demonstrated ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel globally, but specifically across the UK, Europe, and US.
