About the Role

Newrest is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in harnessing the power of data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze daily flight data, including dates, timings, menu cycles, and specifications.
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities.
  • Process customer and account sourced documents by reviewing data for deficiencies, resolving discrepancies using standard procedures, or returning incomplete documents to the manager for resolution.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data, combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete, purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
  • Check final figures and specifications to verify for billing.
  • Submit final figures and ad hoc items on customer systems.
  • Closing billing period to ensure accurate billing data is included for submission to customers.
  • Liaise with dispatch teams on flight delivery details and orders.
  • Liaise with accounts and customers on billing queries.
  • Liaise with commercial teams to update pricing on the system.
  • Adhere to unit safety measures in place.
  • Adhere to in-flight services security compliance.
  • Adhere to clean-as-you-go standards.
  • Interact with colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner at all times.
  • Comply with all unit corporate, social responsibility initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by your manager.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science (essential).
  • Good working knowledge of Excel (essential).
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in an office environment (desirable).
  • Experience working with a number of different systems (desirable).
  • Data entry skills, good numeracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good literacy skills, verbal, written, and spoken.
  • Excellent communication, team work, and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills.
