About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire and Security Installation and Maintenance Professional to join our team at SDW Recruitment. As a Multidisciplinary Security and Fire Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, automated gates, and barriers across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, repair, and maintain systems from leading manufacturers such as Dahua, Texecom, and Paxton.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the highest quality of work from start to finish.
  • Provide support to team members and have the opportunity to lead as we continue to grow.
  • Field-based role covering a wide geographic area, including Southampton, New Forest, Bournemouth, and surrounding areas.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional variations in start and finish times.
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and has a strong technical understanding of fire and security systems. If you have the following qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the Fire and Security industry.
  • Knowledge of a range of manufacturers and solid technical understanding.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • IT literate, with a strong grasp of app technology.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards.
  • Experience working on commercial, industrial, and domestic projects.
  • Great at troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Good customer service experience.
