Position: Cloud Solutions Architect

The Cloud Solutions Architect role is pivotal in steering the organization towards its strategic objectives through innovative technology solutions. This position entails providing architectural guidance for the Infrastructure Transformation Portfolio and overseeing the Data Centre Exit Programme. The role requires the translation of business objectives into a cohesive technology strategy, engaging stakeholders to embrace effective technology solutions, and proactively managing risks and critical dependencies.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in Azure Cloud and DevOps architecture
  • Expand knowledge in Cloud, Application, Integration, Data, and Security technologies
  • Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and the KPMG technology landscape
  • Collaborate effectively with Cloud engineering teams across the organization
  • Develop and sustain technology roadmaps and solutions
  • Lead the Cloud Design Authority and engage in the technology assurance process
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in Azure Cloud architecture
  • Solid understanding of Cloud hosting, integration technologies, and Azure Active Directory
  • Experience in cloud monitoring, provisioning, orchestration management, and DevSecOps
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences
  • Knowledgeable in Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and Integration domains
  • Background in Enterprise and Solution Architecture roles
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC and business analysis methodologies
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities
  • Commitment to continuous learning and ability to work autonomously
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and M365
  • Understanding of GDPR, ISO 27001, ITIL, and TOGAF frameworks
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
