Job Title: Southern Universities Network Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Coordinator to join our team at the Arts University Bournemouth. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the Southern Universities Network (SUN) outreach programme, working closely with schools, colleges, and other stakeholders to increase access to higher education for underrepresented groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and deliver outreach projects and programmes for the SUN in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Uni Connect programme.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key members of staff in schools and colleges to increase the profile of the programme.
  • Ensure activity is delivered to young people and their key influencers, which complements programmes and initiatives already underway.
  • Work collaboratively with the SUN central team at the University of Southampton to achieve programme objectives.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of working with young people and knowledge of the education sector.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative setting and be a team player.
  • Commitment to the values of the access and participation agenda.
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside of office hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
