This role involves direct collaboration with accomplished principals who possess backgrounds in law and finance, overseeing all financial aspects of their household, including:

  • Establishing and managing all financial processes
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting
  • Managing budgets and negotiating costs for household expenditures and major renovation projects
  • Overseeing HR and payroll functions for a team of 15 household staff
  • Processing invoices across multiple properties
  • Managing banking operations
  • Facilitating property acquisitions
  • Setting up and managing trusts
  • Engaging in forward planning, including wills and estate management
  • Assisting external accountants with tax-related matters

This position is based in a central London office and requires a commitment of five days a week.

This is a newly created role, providing ample opportunity to shape and define your responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional numerical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data rapidly and accurately. Emotional intelligence is crucial for fitting seamlessly into the family dynamic, alongside a positive and adaptable personality. You should be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, keeping the principals informed and providing insightful advice.

A relevant accountancy qualification or significant finance experience is essential.

This role may be suitable for:
