Position Overview

The role of the Heat Pump Installation Specialist encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient and effective heating solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the execution of onsite tasks, including work on hot water cylinders, solar thermal systems, and air source heat pumps.
  • Performing repairs on general central heating systems.
  • Coordinating labor and materials to optimize project delivery.
  • Providing onsite supervision and offering both technical and practical assistance.
  • Conducting fault analysis, maintenance, and repairs for both commercial and residential heating systems.
  • Executing installation and upgrade tasks for heating, sanitation, plumbing, and HVAC systems on both a planned and reactive basis to maintain safety and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

We seek a candidate with a proven background in air source heat pump technology. Essential qualifications include:

  • Experience with air source heat pumps and multifuel systems.
  • Formal training and relevant craft qualifications, such as Domestic Plumbing NVQ L2/L3 or City & Guilds equivalents.
  • Desirable qualifications include Water Regulations, Solar, and RFQ L3.
  • F-Gas certification is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current legislation and regulations.

A full clean driving license and electrical qualifications (17th/18th edition) along with control re-wiring experience are beneficial.
