At Day Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Construction Materials team, you will be responsible for organizing and performing Factory Production Control testing associated with the production of hydraulically bound mixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine inspections, sampling, and testing of construction materials
  • Participate in research and development projects to improve our construction materials
  • Conduct physical material trials to ensure quality and consistency

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a construction materials technician, asphalt/ready mix concrete technician, or site technician
  • Experience in granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing, and compressive strength testing would be beneficial

Working Hours:

0600 to 1600 Monday to Friday, including one hour unpaid break. Occasional Saturday mornings and out of hours working may be required to meet production needs.
