About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Potens, a national provider of health, social, and education services. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to individuals, promoting independence and encouraging participation in community activities.
- Maintain a high level of support, adapting to the changing needs of the service.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring the individual's goals and aspirations are met.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective support service.
Requirements
- Passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and organize.
- Positive attitude under pressure, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and sleepovers.
