We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a stunning country hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the management of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and development
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP and COSHH
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, including inventory management and budgeting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source the finest produce
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH regulations
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers
