Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance tasks on various mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on various mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  • Work on a range of assets to ensure they are properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Identify mechanical issues during inspections and perform necessary repairs to maintain asset reliability and performance.
  • Report findings to the maintenance supervisor or project lead, detailing the condition of assets post-maintenance and any additional work required to ensure continued operation.
  • Work closely with other team members, including electrical maintenance staff, to ensure all tasks are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (e.g NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly within industrial or commercial environments.
  • Strong mechanical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Additional Information:
  • The team will be provided with all necessary equipment, internal training, and inductions required to work safely.
  • This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
