We are seeking a skilled and passionate Arboriculture Professional to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Tree Surveyor and Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in urban tree management, contributing to the health and safety of green spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed inspections and risk assessments of trees in various locations.
- Produce comprehensive reports on tree conditions, identifying any required remedial actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tree details using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or other software.
- Assist in developing tree management plans, including recommendations for pruning, removal, or maintenance.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure tree-related projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide arboriculture advice and guidance to clients and other stakeholders on matters such as tree health, pest control, and safety.
- Monitor the health and safety of trees, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards (e.g., BS3998).
- Support the annual tree planting program by assessing suitable planting sites and species.
- Arboriculture qualification (Technical Certificate Level 3).
- NPTC / SSTS certification (Desirable).
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
- Knowledge of tree pests, diseases, and urban tree management.
- Proficiency in IT packages (e.g., Outlook, Word).
- Full, clean driving licence.
