About the Role:

Succeed Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our client's current suite of business intelligence reports, bringing data from numerous sources into SSRS and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Reports: Design and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  2. Expand Power BI Dashboards: Expand the current set of Power BI dashboards and encourage adoption of self-serve reporting across all business areas, driving business growth and informed decision-making.
  3. Refine SQL Jobs: Refine SQL jobs to maximize performance and availability of data for reporting, ensuring seamless data integration and analysis.
  4. Data Integration: Ensure data from numerous systems is available for reporting within the SQL data warehouse, providing a single source of truth for business insights.
  5. Financial Reconciliation: Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, preferably in an online travel setting, with a strong understanding of business intelligence principles and practices.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, with advanced knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  4. Business Acumen: Knowledge of Google Analytics, having utilized the tool to understand customer website journeys and combining it with other data to extract actionable insights.
  5. Adaptability: Enthusiastic about using new technologies and tools to interpret data, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
