Position Overview

Prospectus is excited to collaborate with our client in the search for a Senior Officer for Institutional Partnerships. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison for international collaborations with three key donors: the European Union (ECHO), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Our client represents a global consortium of 84 organizations dedicated to addressing the most pressing systemic challenges within the humanitarian sector across six continents.

This organization operates as an independent charity, partnering with Save the Children UK, which functions as a grant custodian for the Start Network.

The vision of our client is to establish a humanitarian system that is locally led and accountable to those affected by crises. They strive to realize this vision by implementing significant changes in the approach and delivery of humanitarian assistance.

This position is offered on an initial contract basis, with a competitive salary range of £42,707 - £44,841 per annum, along with flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Officer for Institutional Partnerships, you will play a vital role within the Business Development Directorate. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your experience with ECHO or USAID BHA to foster impactful changes in the humanitarian landscape.
  • Coordinating across various teams to oversee the donor engagement strategy and ensure key deliverables are met.
  • Enhancing funding relationships through effective management of quality reporting, budgeting, and communication.
  • Providing practical guidance to program teams throughout the implementation phase.
