Job Title: Band 6 Deputy Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Deputy Team Leader to join our theatre team at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading the team in the absence of the Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patient care needs and ensure planned care is implemented and evaluated.
  2. Provide specialist advice without direct supervision and lead the multi-disciplinary team.
  3. Assist in the leadership and development of practitioners within the Department.
  4. Comply with the NMC or HCPC Code of Professional Conduct and demonstrate knowledge of Departmental and Trust policies and procedures.
  5. Be responsible for the storage of tissue/organs in the department under the Human Tissue Act 2004, reporting of incidents and audits.
  6. Participate in the on-call rota as required.
  7. Act as a Theatre Coordinator during out-of-hours and weekends.
  8. Internal rotation to night duty, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
