We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to join our team at South Downs Resourcing Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong background in menu planning, kitchen management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for supervising a team of kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our busy pub environment.
We are a privately owned business with a strong commitment to using locally sourced produce in our menu items. As a result, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of seasonal ingredients and to develop new and exciting menu ideas.
As a key member of our team, you will be expected to be a strong communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels to achieve our business objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
