Job Opportunity: Chef de Partie
Location: Hassocks, a picturesque village with easy access to Brighton, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Crawley, and Horsham.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Artisan Recruitment UK Ltd. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook fresh food to a high standard, using a variety of ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent service and high-quality food.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and utensils.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen, working as a Chef de Partie.
- Excellent cooking skills, with the ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent qualification.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £27k to £30k, plus £9k in tips per year.
- 45/50 hour week, with 3 days off per week.
