Job Title: Practice Nurse

Job Summary:

Leatside Health Centre is seeking a skilled Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, treat, refer, signpost, and discharge patients and service users
  • Provide routine care to patients, as required, in accordance with clinical-based evidence and NICE guidelines
  • Ensure clinical treatment is safe, effective, and conducted within the boundaries of competence, and acknowledge limitations
  • Participate in vaccination programs, vaccinating patients in the Practice, and/or on home visits
  • Work within Practice policies and procedures
  • Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and work colleagues
  • Undertake the collection of pathology specimens, including blood samples, swabs, etc.
  • Support the clinical team with safeguarding matters, in accordance with local and national policies

Requirements:

  • Must have experience of working as a Practice Nurse
  • Registered Nurse with NMC
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Experience of working across a variety of multidisciplinary teams
