About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Undergraduate Education Manager to join our dynamic team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our senior education team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality medical education services across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional teaching activities, induction, and skills training for medical students from Imperial College School of Medicine and medical and PA students from Brunel Medical School.
  • Provide specialist knowledge and advice on undergraduate medical education-related matters for all medical and PA students and undergraduate and PA lead clinicians in the Trust.
  • Ensure excellent and effective communications involving a range of professionals and organisations to ensure that education objectives and strategies are fulfilled.
  • Support the development and management of undergraduate education with guidance from the Director of Clinical Studies and Director of Undergraduate Education.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing people and preparing and writing reports.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Medical Education matters and experience in interpretation and application of legislation, guidance, and policy.
  • Creation and use of administrative/monitoring systems and working on own initiative and prioritising workload.
  • Financial management and wide range of assessment and performance management experience.
  • Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams and ability to communicate with staff at all levels involving complex information.
