Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure alignment with the company's operational objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of maintenance professionals to achieve exceptional performance and meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the operational team to drive process improvement, optimize maintenance efficiency, and ensure compliance with relevant legislations and industry standards.
- Health and Safety: Conduct risk assessments, develop work-based method statements, and maintain open lines of communication with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Effectively control site maintenance stock management, including allocation, issuing, and replenishment of stock, to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in maintenance-related tasks, identify defect trends, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall performance.
- Staff Management: Monitor staff attendance, performance, and conduct investigations in line with disciplinary and health and safety policies.
- Shift Management: Manage the supervision and support of both night and weekend shifts, ensuring consistency throughout.
- Cleaning and Housekeeping: Manage the maintenance cleaning team to ensure housekeeping of defined areas in line with company expectations.
- Adaptability: Undertake any other duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization, in line with training and capabilities.
This role is a Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm position, with the option to work night shifts.
