About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team at Greene King. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and kitchen procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, inventory, and labor to achieve budget targets and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
