Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Health, Safety and Fire Consultant to join our team at Search People. As a key member of our Consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to our clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough health and safety risk assessments and audits at client sites to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Develop and implement bespoke health and safety management systems for clients, including documentation and training programs.
- Carry out fire risk assessments and provide expert advice on fire safety protocols.
- Conduct site-specific risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and present health and safety management reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Identify client needs and expectations through surveys and site visits, and provide tailored solutions.
- Advise and guide clients on current occupational health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Audit and inspect health and safety practices across client premises to ensure compliance.
- Provide training and coaching to clients on the use of their health and safety management systems.
- Work in a multi-site environment and provide expert advice on health and safety matters.
Requirements
- Experience in a consultancy environment is highly desirable.
- Hold a recognized health and safety qualification, such as GradIOSH or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Recognized fire qualification and experience in fire risk assessment and management.
