About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team in Burnley. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the Sales and Purchase Ledger, conducting regular supplier payment runs, and handling bank postings and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Sales and Purchase Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Conduct regular supplier payment runs and handle bank postings and reconciliations
- Collate Management Accounts for multiple companies within the group
- Perform month-end statement reconciliations
- Utilize Sage Line 50 as the primary system for daily tasks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position and be proficient in Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office packages. Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
What We Offer
In return, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £27,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent role with a Monday to Friday schedule. Additional benefits include free on-site parking, a health and wellbeing programme, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive and dynamic team.
