Position Overview

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team on a contractual basis.

Role Details:

  • Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Contract Type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Oversee the daily management of partner and supplier relationships, contributing to the operational performance and strategic direction of these entities. Ensure effective implementation of the Supplier Engagement Model.
  • Cost Management: Monitor cost performance of designated supply chains, aligning with business and customer requirements. Drive long-term cost improvements and leverage reductions across commodity categories.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and communicate relevant strategies for commodities and suppliers, ensuring alignment with current and future business needs.
  • Compliance and Procedures: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the commodity teams, ensuring adequate resourcing and training to achieve success.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Represent the procurement function externally and assume delegated responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in planning and executing sourcing activities to maximize value.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics and strategy development.
