Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Nursing Associate to become a part of our welcoming team within the newly established Clinical Investigation Unit, specifically designed for pediatric care.
As a member of our dynamic and motivated team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to children and adolescents aged 0-18 in the Clinical Investigation Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a service that supports children and their families through various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
This innovative service will cater to children and young individuals requiring specific assessments or treatments, including but not limited to infusions, daily antibiotic therapies, transfusions, endocrinology evaluations, dermatological medication trials, and pre-procedural cannulation. Additionally, the unit will facilitate diagnostic assessments for patients attending pre-scheduled scans following admissions.
As a Nursing Associate, you will adhere to the nationally recognized Code of Conduct and Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nursing Associates. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and Registered Nurses to evaluate, plan, organize, and deliver clinical care tailored to the needs of our patients, as determined in conjunction with supervising clinicians. You will operate autonomously under the guidance of registered nurses, engaging in all facets of nursing care and the nursing process.
