Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's operations team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for advising on contract conditions and commercial matters, maintaining accurate financial control systems, and supporting the Contracts Managers in respect of project and commercial deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial awareness of contracts to maximise profitability.
- Preparing, submitting, and agreeing a budget and to monitoring actual performance against the agreed budget.
- Adept at applying the appropriate financial processes.
- Strong knowledge of materials procurement processes.
- Support the Contracts Managers in respect of project and commercial deliverables.
- Production of monthly cost and value forecasts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Demonstrable experience within the Built Environment.
- IT proficient with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
