About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Oliver House School, a specialist school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 with mild, moderate, and severe autistic spectrum disorders and associated complex learning needs.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our young people, utilizing a holistic and integrated approach to care, education, and clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care and education
Requirements
  • Recognized and relevant Speech and Language qualification
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Relevant SaLT experience working with the specific client group or related field
  • Experience of representing speech and language therapy in the context of multi-disciplinary working and multi-agency treatment and care
  • Experience of reviewing and developing therapy standards, policies, and procedures
