Accounts Support Specialist (Fixed term contract)
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

About the Company:
A prominent leisure organization dedicated to empowering individuals in achieving their health and fitness aspirations. Our client is currently in search of a proactive and enthusiastic Accounts and Payroll Administrator to join their expanding team.


Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounts Support Specialist, you will provide direct assistance to the Assistant Finance Manager, aiding in the administration of financial processing and reconciliations.


Your duties will include:
- Sales Ledger: Generate invoices/credit notes as necessary, conduct regular aged debtor assessments, and maintain the ledger.
- Purchase Ledger: Record invoices/credit notes, manage supplier payment runs, perform regular aged creditor evaluations, and maintain the ledger.
- Cashbook: Record bank transactions daily and participate in cash & bank reconciliations.
- Nominal Ledger: Identify and process prepayments and assist the Assistant Finance Manager with the management of fixed assets in the asset register.
- Administer and process company credit card returns.
- Process or assist in executing ad-hoc BACS payments.
- Conduct credit control and proactively pursue any outstanding debts.
- Support the Assistant Finance Manager with additional tasks as required.
- Ensure all training is completed and kept current.


Qualifications:
- Experience working within a team covering all aspects of the finance function.
- Familiarity with Sage software.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to analyze financial data.
