About the Role:
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the NHS team in a dynamic healthcare environment on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and manage financial reports and budgets to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Financial Analysis and Advice: Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful financial advice to support business decisions.
- Month-End and Year-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure compliance with NHS financial policies and procedures.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with NHS financial policies and procedures, and collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
- Financial Statements and Audits: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
- CIMA Qualified or Equivalent: Ideally CIMA qualified, however, we will consider candidates who are not qualified but have relevant experience.
- Management Accounting Experience: Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data and provide insightful advice.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
- Financial Software and MS Office Suite: Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite to manage financial reports and budgets.
